I am a physical therapist practicing in Atlanta ,Georgia. I maintain certifications in up-to-date, evidence-based approaches to caring for newborns and families. I have a BS in Physical Therapy, and an MS Educational Psychology, and have worked with infants and families for over thirty years. You can also find my work published in the Developmental Observer.
I am certified in administering the Newborn Behavioral Assessment Scale, the Test of Infant Motor Performance, and the Newborn Individualized Developmental Care and Assessment Program.
My practice of physical therapy for families and newborns is focused on supporting communication and development. My strengths are found in integrating physical therapy and active listening to the challenges facing families. Together we find pathways and support each other to help babies shine.
"Kathi joined our family when our little boy was just three weeks old. She has a wonderful holistic approach to working with us. Through her gentle, caring nature and practical techniques, we have seen great progress in our son. We love the exercise board she created specifically for our family, so everyone who has a role in our son’s care giving has a consistent approach. She genuinely cares about our family and is fully vested in seeing our son flourish."
"It is a rare gem to find someone who has such passion to help people. Kathi possesses such an incredible depth of knowledge and experience that she can identify problems when they are small and easy to correct. She has truly been a miracle worker for my family!"
